Vermiwash:

Vermiwash is a liquid fertilizer collected after water passes through a column of worm activity, carrying with it the excretory products, mucus secretions, and micronutrients that earthworms release through their natural biological process. It works as both a soil drench and a foliar spray, making it one of the more versatile organic inputs you can add to your farming routine.

 

SRC Farms’ Vermiwash is produced using 100% cow dung sourced directly from our own herd at SRC Dairy Farm. Every batch is rich with beneficial microbes, enzymes, and plant-available micronutrients that make the difference between crops that just grow and crops that genuinely thrive.

 

Good vermiwash starts with healthy worms. We raise the Eisenia fetida variety in-house, feeding them pure cow dung before introducing them into a carefully maintained 200-litre drum. Water droplets are arranged to keep moisture levels consistent throughout the process. A natural filter built from sand, stone, and bricks sits at the base of the drum, ensuring the vermiwash that comes out is clean, clear, and ready to use directly on your plants or soil.

SRC Vermiwash Dosage:

 

• Root dip or stem dip: The solution wants to be diluted 5 times with water and seedlings of the plants are dipped in solution for 15 to 20 minutes before transplantation.

 

• Foliar Spray: Vermiwash is diluted 10 times with water and sprayed on the crops. Vermiwash can also be mixed with cow urine and can be used as bio-pesticide. 1 Ltr of vermiwash mixed with 1 ltr of cow urine and then diluted with 8 ltrs of water.

 

• Soil drench: Vermiwash is diluted 10 times with water and drenched to the crops. Minimum 5 liters per acre per month.
