Product Description

Phosphocompost:

Phosphocompost, or Phosphorous Rich Organic Manure (PROM), is an organic fertilizer made by co-composting high-grade rock phosphate (32% P₂O₅ ± 2%) with cow dung. The result is a slow-release phosphatic fertilizer where raw rock phosphate is biochemically transformed into soluble phosphates that plants can absorb directly, with no synthetic processing required.

SRC Farms’ Phosphocompost is made from 100% cow dung sourced directly from our own herd at SRC Farms. Every batch contains Phosphorous (10.4%), Organic Carbon (7.9%), and Nitrogen (0.4%), along with beneficial microorganisms and trace minerals that build soil health over the long term.

Unlike DAP, SSP, or MAP, SRC Phosphocompost doesn't just feed the first crop and fade. The cow dung is processed through a 400 cubic meter biodigester first, where all harmful components and pathogens are removed biologically before the material is blended with rock phosphate and nutrient-fixing bacterial culture. What goes into your soil is clean, well-digested, and fully traceable. It softens soil texture, performs reliably in saline conditions, and is especially suited to the neutral and alkaline soils common across India. Research also shows that crops grown with PROM develop better disease resistance and produce tastier, more nutritious harvests.

Benefits - SRC Phosphocompost:

People treat phosphocompost as just another organic alternative to DAP. But SRC Phosphocompost brings genuine, traceable value to every patch of soil it touches, making it a strong foundation for your farm, kitchen garden, or landscape.

  • Better Phosphorus Absorption and Conservation: It doesn't just deliver phosphorus. It improves how efficiently the soil absorbs and holds it, so less is wasted per application and more reaches the crop.

  • Improved Root-Level Nutrient Access: Improves soil structure at the root zone, allowing plant roots to penetrate more freely. The result is stronger root systems and more efficient nutrient uptake.

  • Builds Natural Disease Resistance: Plants grown in phosphocompost-enriched soil develop stronger natural immunity and handle disease pressure better. The produce that comes from them is consistently tastier and more nutritious.

  • Higher Water-Holding Capacity: The organic matter content significantly improves the soil's ability to retain moisture, reducing how often you need to irrigate. It keeps your land productive and fertile season after season.

  • Prevents Soil Acidification: Regular use keeps soil pH in a healthy range and prevents toxic buildup over time. Healthy soil pH means healthier crops and consistent yields, harvest after harvest.

  • Pathogen-Free, Biodigester Processed: Every batch of cow dung is biologically processed through our biodigester, eliminating harmful components and pathogens naturally. No chemicals, no shortcuts, just clean and safe compost.

  • Enriches Soil With Trace Minerals: Beyond the three primary nutrients, it feeds the soil with cobalt, copper, and zinc over an extended period. Your crops get more from the soil with every passing season.

  • 100% Organic: No synthetic inputs, no chemical processing. What goes into your soil is exactly what it says on the bag.

Direction for Use:

Step 1: Loosen the soil around the plant using cultivator.

Step 2: Apply the Vermicompost by sprinkling near the root zone of the plants.

Step 3: Water the plants after application of manure to mix it properly with the soil.
